YOPS is a digital platform that helps large agricultural producers increase productivity per hectare by digitalizing planning, monitoring, and decision-making. The system brings together satellite data, sensors, weather forecasts, soil analysis, and crop-rotation planning into one intuitive tool. YOPS is already used by enterprises operating 300+ hectares and relies on robust backend services to process and deliver high-quality insights at scale.
We’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our backend team. You will work on enhancing and expanding the platform — building new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring system stability and scalability as we grow into new markets and support more users.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and enhance backend services and APIs using .NET technologies
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of the backend systems handling complex agricultural datasets
- Design and implement robust, scalable solutions for the expanding platform
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
- Apply industry best practices in coding, architecture, and security
- Contribute to security improvements and bug fixing
- Create and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
- Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and product teams to align backend capabilities with platform requirements
- Mentor team members, share knowledge, and help strengthen engineering culture
- Stay up to date with trends, technologies, and best practices within the .NET and cloud ecosystem
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong knowledge of .NET / .NET Core and C#
- Experience building scalable backend systems and microservices
- Solid understanding of REST API design and integration patterns
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Experience working in agile methodologies (SCRUM)
- Understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization (OAuth, JWT, Identity)
- Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools
